midterms, mis hermanas españolas

FINALLY done with the pressure and intense studying that always comes along with a week of midterms and writing final papers/essays.

I've learned an awful lot more than I was expecting to in this study abroad program.  The level of difficulty is the same as it is in my MSU classes, but that's because these are literally University of Virginia classes through their school.  They just all require a lot more time because everything is in Spanish, and it takes longer to translate random words and completely understand everything (some students more than others obviously).

But after acing all of my midterms, it was great to spend some quality time with my 2 Spanish sisters (hermanas españolas).  We're all getting a lot more comfortable together and have reached the level of intimacy to be able to talk about more personal topics- their novios (boyfriends), problems in their lives, etc.  But it's great to feel a lot more comfortable in such a foreign setting.  Here's a picture of us from our Mac photo shoot (they fell in love with all of the picture distortions and effects)
